You may have noticed by now that all of the wonderful lighthouses that have been displayed around the city have now been taken down. Most of these will be put up for auction at the International Boat Show on 20th September, however there is something very special planned for the Wellbeing beacon!
The interactive lighthouse will be displayed outside the hospital, and will receive a very special visit this Friday from HRH Princess Anne. She will be meeting the wonderful children from Mt Pleasant primary school who helped designed the Wellbeing beacon.
If you find yourself outside Southampton hospital I really encourage you to check out this lighthouse if you haven’t already, and find out all about the exciting research being carried out into digital health and biomedical engineering (plus the fantastic artwork is worth seeing!)
